Please Help Prevent the Spread of the 2019 Novel Coronavirus (Updated March 24)

Even if you aren’t showing any symptoms, both patients and those accompanying them are required to wear a face mask in the hospital. Please be sure your mask is properly applied before visiting the hospital.

If you are concerned that you may have become infected with the 2019 novel coronavirus (COVID-19), which has been classified as a Designated Infectious Disease by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, you must call your local Returnee/Contact Consultation Center to find out where you can be tested. (Shinjuku City: 03-5273-3836, Nights & Weekends: 03-5320-4592)

Other consultation services are provided by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare Consultation Desk at 0120-565653 (daily from 9:00 to 21:00) and the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Consultation Center at 0570-550571. Deaf and hard of hearing people are able to access services by fax at 03-5388-1396. (Current as of March 24, 2020)

In general, reservations should not be made until after a two-week self-quarantine upon returning to Japan.

In light of the global COVID-19 pandemic, Keio University Hospital had limited hospital visits to prevent the spread of infection, but as of March 19, 2020, we have banned most types of hospital visits. Visits will be limited to admission and discharge, diagnosis and prognosis, day of surgery, or if you have been contacted specifically by a nurse or physician. Laundry pick-up/drop-off will be restricted to one person and limited to five minutes.
